I’m the second-most hated person in Amber Springs.

First place honors go to my twin, Ethan; however, hate isn’t a strong enough word to convey how people feel about him.

Not that I blame anyone—some days, I hate him too. Mostly, I’m just lost and afraid, drowning in a sea of betrayal and guilt, wondering how this happened right under my nose.

There’s no choice but to leave. To move clear across the country in a last-ditch attempt to start over.

Transferring to a new school midway through senior year is hellish for most people. For me, it’s a welcome relief—until someone discovers our secret and now everyone knows.

The pointing, whispering, and scathing looks follow me around again, and I’m back to square one. Except, this time, I’m not alone.

Axel, Skeet, and Heath took me under their wing from the minute I arrived here. I’ve no idea why three of the hottest guys in town took any interest in me or why they continue to have my back, but I’m so grateful to have them in my corner.

Because, right now, they’re the only reason I’m not following my brother into an early grave."

Summary from Siobhan Davis's website:

http://siobhandavis.co.uk/standalone-books/surviving-amber-springs/
</text>

That’s all he gets from the elderly man who just died a few days prior. And the warning is simple – when you travel backward through time, you incidentally delete a full microsecond from existence, causing a ripple felt by a vigilant policing agency far in the future. When you travel backward, you need to work fast because they now know where you are and they’re coming for you with the intent to kill you.

Christian Steele was only six years old when he heard about a high school kid who shot and killed a dozen elementary school students who’d been enjoying a field trip at the zoo. A year later, he read about a similar school shooting on the internet. Over and over again, his empathetic heart kept getting shattered by the news of another child’s life cut short for no reason at all.

Empathy calls on anger and vengeance when Christian inherits a device that allows him to go back in time. All he’s ever wanted to do was to save all those children. All his vengeful heart ever wanted was to shoot the shooter before he could hurt those kids. He was on a mission now – to undo every single school shooting in all of history, but at what expense? How far would he be willing to go to end all the school shootings?"

Summary from distributer Amazon.com Services LLC:

https://www.amazon.com/Manifesto-Scott-McElhaney-ebook/dp/B07RTHCHPY?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B07RTHCHPY&pd_rd_r=82df3ea5-9a5f-11e9-bd29-f56f00babb57&pd_rd_w=tEZbI&pd_rd_wg=OrL5P&pf_rd_p=469620d9-3e90-496d-9dc8-b19f900ba5fe&pf_rd_r=N3WS0SNP92MSY7THZ6VE
</text>

Now he’s starting sophomore year at the public high school—the one with the gymnasium at the heart of the building and the glorified athletes who rule it all. The smart thing would be to blend in, but Danny has always been about making statements.

Brady just wants to get out. Go to college, play football, maybe reach the NFL. He definitely wants to stop waiting for his deadbeat mother to come home, sleeping on park benches, and going to bed hungry. But first he has to lead the team to the championships. It all adds up to a lot of stress. So who can really blame him when he and the football team turn their aggressions on the new freak? Even the quarterback needs to blow off steam sometimes.

Coach turns a blind eye to his players’ crimes—because this year, they’re going to State. But maybe if Coach had paid more attention they could’ve caught it before it all happened. Maybe it could’ve been avoided.

Maybe.

With quick cuts between a large cast of unforgettable characters, and razor-sharp plotting, Tom Leveen takes readers on a countdown to an inevitable, horrifying act. This gripping novel offers an intense, smart perspective on the tragic, toxic mindsets behind the celebrated American sport and the monsters it creates."

Summary from publisher Sky Pony Press:

https://www.skyhorsepublishing.com/sky-pony-press/9781510726987/mercy-rule/
</text>

Added to the challenge of two previously “straight” men falling into a same-sex love, are the complications that arise from the abundance of secrets Liam holds with regard to a past family tragedy. The fledgling passion between the men seems bound to fade away into the darkness from which it emerged. Jason, however, is inexplicably called to rescue his hero in return, by delving into Liam’s shady past and uncovering the mystery that compels the older man to act as the college town’s selfless savior. The Art of Hero Worship takes the reader on a voyage from the dark and chilling chaos that accompanies a mass shooting to the thrill of an unexpected and sensual romance."

Summary from publisher Amazon.com:

https://www.amazon.com/Art-Hero-Worship-Mia-Kerick/dp/1523427868/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1495780306&sr=8-1
</text>
